Topic: Converged Risk Management - Leveraging Strengths and Further Defining Value

Presenter BIO:
Brian Ivie is the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of Hewitt Associates, and is responsible for leading Hewitt’s global Security Risk Management organization, which includes: Global Corporate and Physical Security, Information Security, Business Continuity and Crisis Management, and the Privacy Office. As Hewitt’s CSO, Mr. Ivie’s core responsibility is to ensure sound and integrated risk management strategies and practices are implemented companywide in order to enhance business competitiveness, regulatory compliance, and asset protection.

Mr. Ivie graduated from the United States Military Academy with a B.S. in Systems Engineering, and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army with years of overseas service in command and staff positions, including service as an UN Peacekeeper in the Balkans.

Mr. Ivie joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a Special Agent after his military service. Assigned to the Cleveland Division of the FBI, Mr. Ivie specialized in criminal, international and domestic terrorism; and counterintelligence matters. Additionally, Mr. Ivie is a graduate of multiple specialized FBI training courses in both cyber crimes and counterintelligence. Mr. Ivie left the FBI and joined The Boeing Company as the International Security Operations leader and later led the Information Security organization for Boeing’s Commercial Airplane Programs. These roles included sensitive security operations and investigations around the world to safeguard Boeing's people, information, and property.

Mr. Ivie is a 2005 graduate of the Seattle University Executive Leadership Program, and is currently finishing his Executive MBA at Seattle University. Mr. Ivie is located in Lincolnshire, IL, along with the other primary Hewitt shared services leaders, and manages a global team of security and risk management professionals.
